[the commander hasn't moved since he was last seen, still seated behind a console on the darkened bridge. the only difference now is that he has slumped forward, head on his arms, breathing slowed and shaky.

he's not asleep, however. he mumbles tiredly, shoulders shaking, talking to himself]It's still seven days until the ship hits that thing... ( Read more... )

How will the respawn look like to an outsider? Will the character simply wake up and start moving again?

It's more the video game style respawn; they dead and mangled body of the character (or what have you) will disappear and they will reappear on the bed, much like they did when they arrived.

Ohmygod, that shit's bananas! o.o; And deliciously evil. *coughs*

So, it takes a few tries to really reach that three and so hours sleep thing, am I correct in thinking that? Kind of like a "going, going, gone" type of deal? And if someone else is with the person who fell asleep, will that person disappear immediately? Or just when that time's about to run out and it's time for the person to wake up, will they disappear then?

Yep, right on the going going gone end! But as for the second one I say that right when time runs out they disappear. The waking up will happen back in their room.

So what happens if someone is killed by someone else's nightmare? Where do they 'respawn'?

Can the bad end involve something happen within the character themselves, as opposed to a vision of something else?

It's up to you! :3 What would you like to happen? I'd say get creative.

Okay, if it is something inside the character that's being affected, can they break the no killing rule and be forced to kill some of the vision-people against their will (they just can't kill anybody they'd actually want to)?

Scratch that, I did it differently XD.

If you get wounded by the vision before you get out of the room, do your wounds disappear when you leave?

So. If your character has more or less hit the bottom already, and their enemy is actually on the ship as well, a bit of creativity is called for. >_>;a
