[the damp air and low clouds have finally gotten around to doing their job. sometime early in the morning, the sun blocked out by hazy gray-green coverage, it starts to rain. nothing serious, but enough of a wide, steady drizzle that everything ends up damp, slightly cold, and slippery ( Read more... )

I had a sort of more OOC oriented question about this event, which is whether or not it will affect the overall premise of the game? I mean, you have "alter the course of the game" bolded, but I guess I'm curious if this will change the premise entirely or will we eventually work back towards what is presented as the inevitable and get reset?

...Okay I can definitely say that more simply. XD Is the 'game' you're referring to just this cycle, or the RP's premise, is what I mean.

...er, apologies if this question kills some of the fun and mystery of the event ^^;;;

It's no problem! When I mean the course of the game, I mean how we progress the overreaching plot, that being the plot of "stuck in a time loop." When I present these kinds of events, it's not changing the premise, but how we act out the premise.

The example I like to use the most is how a D&D game works. A dungeon master presents scenarios that players react and make choices according to and the dungeon master crafts the gameplay and changes in the plot depending on how the players act. So it's neither the premise nor just the cycle; it's the progress we make in the premise's question of "how do we get out of this?"

I hope that answers your question, but if you want anything more specific I will have to provide it over email, as it may contain information that could spoil the game for other players.

Well, maybe not the dancing, but the suits were issued to the passengers of the ship. It'd separate us from whatever locals there may or may not be.

Well, possibly not, but still a valid option, if you think your chara'd suggest it?

BRB, pretending I can get these things.

Also love to Jchan, since the Doctor's first response was what I felt Sasuke would do too.

Edit: A "6" slipped into "that" in the italic portion of the text.

And I think "exacerbating an already precarious situation" is more likely what you meant than "acerbating an already precious situation" though I adore the thought of it being precious.

♥ Thanks ^^

Though you know, I'm pretty sure I read over some crucial little detail--or overcomplicated the whole deal.

Hell, the solution could be as easy as everyone running around naked in the rain for all I know! Still doesn't explain why the smoke would turn orange--or does it? Would the chemicals they've absorbed over the past few weeks react to the change in atmospheric pressure coupled with the increased flow in adrenaline to create a sort of orange fog that sort of gives everyone some of their shame back?

The world may never know. >.>;;

...Why I want to say, "Wait, maybe they need to pee on the fires!" should never be discussed.

Just pointed at and laughed about.

Maybe someday I'll be able to make a post that doesn't have any mistakes in it. :C
