i have a reluctant relationship with the internet, computers, phones, etc., but Nick sent me this article about cognitive surplus that made me feel like at least writing on blogs is better than watching tv

I heart blogging. It means I write everyday, it means I have to have a different, outward focus when I'm on my bicycle, it means I'm connecting with others who are in love with their bicycles (me and mine are currently in a monogamous relationship--don't hate). I'm finding it uniquely helpful right now as I struggle through a bunch of personal stuff.

AND I inspired a stranger to get on his bike and take pictures of Seattle. Right on.
