I received an owl from my father this afternoon.
I have been informed, in no uncertain terms, that I am to come home for the Christmas holidays, and that the Dark Lord He has requested my presence before him. After having spoken to Theodore, it has come to my attention that both he and Blaise have gotten similar news from their parents as well. I need to know if any of the rest of you have been notified like this, as I believe it would be wise for us to meet at some point to discuss this news... and what we might do about it.
I had intended to sneak away to see you this weekend, but was delayed by a rather challenging Advanced Potions essay. You will let me know the instant you're ready for a visitor?
I'm disgusted at the amount of whining and self pity I've been forced to witness in these journals as of late. Why not attempt to better your situations instead of wasting all your time lamenting over them? Then again, I suppose I'm expecting too much from this lot of Mudbloods and blood traitors.
