I'll always have a soft spot for Golden Axe! I played Streets of Rage recently, and it's still pretty good, although the balance is all over the place. Old-school Sega FTW!

I played GOlden Axe more than Streets of Rage, so I'll have a softer spot for that one, hehe. I'm playing these on my cousin's wii and I think she's going to get Streets of Rage soon so we'll see how it is! hehe

gosh i can still remember the music for that game. it was so intense and dramatic. the only break is the elven music in between the levels where you kick the elves. at least i thought they were elves.

haha you're right!! it's funny, the things you remember. and I think those elves-ish guys are wizards or something. I sucked though, I kept dying at the castle gate or whatever that was.

I never warmed up to that game as much. "Streets of Rage 2" on the otherhand is a masterpiece that's still really fun to play!

funny how a lot of "2" games are the best.. Golden Axe II, Streets of Rage 2, Street FIghter 2... etc.
