Well, I finally passed that pesky test. It only took me 4 months and a bunch of money, but I'm finally done with that. Now I can start thinking about the lab exam, which I have to take within 18 months. I'm going to the Cisco Networkers conference in Las Vegas in June, and they have practice labs you can do, so that should give me a good idea of ( Read more... )

I'm taking the Cisco CCIE test again on Thursday morning. I'm crossing my fngers that this will be the last time. Wish me good memory retention!

Hello from Colorado! It's cold, and I'm sore, but otherwise it's fun.:)

This Thursday morning I'm taking the CCIE Security written test. For any non-geeks reading this, that's the 2 hour multiple choice test that qualifies you to take the one day lab exam, which if you pass, makes you a CCIE, which is the top level Cisco networking certification. Finally some snow. It figures though that I'd be in training, which I'd rather not miss(I doubt this snow will cancel it), instead of at work, which I don't mind missing(even though everyone at the office gets this afternoon and tomorrow off for the Inauguration).

I haven't posted in a while, but here I am. I've been studying for the CCIE Security certification, so that's been keeping me busy.
