I've given up on glee. Shame because I used to love it a whole lot. But I think I would have preferred if they'd done Rachel and Kurt in nyc as a spin off (with someone other than ryan murphy running the show because lordy).
Yes to your who and downton feels though. I knew I was going to find this episode entirely fillery from the trailer. But Downton was so flawless. I cried all over the place when she came down in her dress. SO BEAUTIFUL. And they are so perfect together. I love Cora and Lord Grantham too. This show is so full of precious couples.
I think I stopped actually loving/liking Glee about mid-season last season. I'm just waiting for Nashville to premiere so I can drop Glee & start watching that. Who would you have preferred to run that supposed spin-off?
I knew I wouldn't love the episode based on the trailer too because I never have liked cyborgs ( unless Cyborg from Teen Titans counts - which, eh... only interesting cause he's a superhero. )
Needs more precious couples too though. Carson/Hughes & Edith/Antony need to hurry up & become canon. Also Anna had better go to France with Mary/Matthew on the honeymoon cause the prison scenes this episode were kind of lack-luster & I didn't really enjoy them. Also, stupid stupid Bates - your wife tells you not to make an enemy & what do you do? You go & piss of your cellmate! UGH! I just wish the time they 'wasted' on Bates would be put towards Thomas cause he's more interesting this season, more than ever - imo now that he's finally become footman. Although, I miss the O`Brien/Thomas dastardly friendship. ;---;
Oh I have no idea - Ryan Murphy just seems like he's really good at starting shows but he doesn't have the consistency to keep them going. I've been wary of him since nip/tuck though, which again - it started good and then went completely off the rails.

I hope Anna goes to France too! I like her and Bates but I'm not really fussed on the whole prison storyline.
Teen Titans was a great show. I'm a bit miffed that they're bringing it back but in 'chibi' art-style. I don't think they should bring it back if they can't do it right. & if you think about it Young Justice has kind of filled the void Teen Titans left behind & I think it's actually better. In terms of story, although the whole Raven story arc in the later seasons of Teen Titans was really interesting so I'm kind of hoping if they add anyone else to the roster for Young Justice it's Raven.
Yeah the prison storyline has already been done to death by other shows & so I'm apathetic to that storyline.
I honestly stopped watching Glee halfway through last season. I just couldn't keep up with it. They kept turning my favorite characters into dumbasses that the fandom hates and I just couldn't bring myself to care about the plot anymore. I heard mostly moderately decent things about the season premiere though? *shrug* I dunno, I keep up to date based on friends updating and Wikipedia haha.
Ugh football prayer circles all around. I hate Alabama. Any team but them can win the BCS this year and I will be happy. LITERALLY ANY TEAM will make me rage less. And seriously thank you for holding my hand through the Mizzou game omg.
You didn't get to go to Silver Dollar City? D: BUT YOU STILL GOT TO GO TO BRANSON THAT'S STILL MORE THAN ME. I've heard it's a decent city but there's hillbillies everywhere haha. (Like literal hillbillies, cause of the amusement park!)
So what kind of new characters did they add? Anyone interesting? And omg no they can't kill Finn he's still my favorite and I will be so sad if he dies even if I'm not keeping up with the show. D: And yeah, the Glee wikia page is what I use to keep up. :P
Yeah, no, there's a difference between resting your starters and pulling your punches. Saban just wanted to sit his starters and save them for other games, he doesn't give a shit about actual sportsmanlike conduct. He's a grade A dick. :/
Okay I may actually have a problem with Oklahoma but I mean. I'd probably take LSU just cause I've always had a soft spot for them. Just not Alabama again. I can't do it.
We keep getting promised rain and then it'll sprinkle for like an hour and that's it. :( I WANT REAL RAIN GDI. Haha, Branson just sounds like a really interesting town. I def want to see it before I move away from Missouri.
The Doctor Who episode this week mostly made me feel very uncomfortable because I have the weirdest morality ever (I'm a little bit amoral at times and I'm very big on cost-benefit rather than preserving individual people) and I kind of felt...weird with all the morality stuff going on in the episode. I prefer my episodes with action and adventure and less morality stuff. :P
I know right!? I watch Doctor Who for the zany exploits of the Doctor & his companion(s) - not for some psychoanalytical stuff that will probably never be addressed again in regards with his current travel companions.
The singing is hit or miss for me. A lot of it has to do with song selection & the fact that they started off with 'Call Me, Maybe' really chafed me.
Please, this is just my opinion in regards to Doctor Who, for all we know - you'll completely adore the episode & think I was taking crazy pills for not liking it. You're still going to watch the latest episode right? Tell me your thoughts if/when you do.
The first episode set the bar quite high & they haven't been able to clear that hurdle since. & they're already advertising the Fall finale for the show, which ... it seems like it's waaay too soon. I can only hope that this coming episode is more typical of the Doctor I've come to love. More zany & caring - I hope.
