I just got hit again with the striking realization that we initially suspected we'd be totally un-invested in the current performers, given how long it's been since we actually watched wrestling, and we just happened to run into the four people we loved and remembered. Cannot believe.

I understand a degree of aloofness. The Golden Age of Cinema - when stars didn't expose their mundanity in godawful DVD commentaries - can never, after all, be replicated.
That said, citations aplenty exist along the line of: the Internet (note capitalisation) is a living, breathing, organism. It exists in the now, only. We, the lecteurs, tend to become restless. We are Twitter whores; many, many of us. Not me, frankly - I've never yet visited the site. Yet a recognition of the symbolism inherent is present, nonetheless.
In short: give us wise words. We're waiting. (sounds of breathing.......)

There's also a combination of aloofness and cerebral stagnancy. I harbor plenty of thoughts, but I'm unsure of (1) how innovative they actually are; (2) how to properly convey them. Additionally, the bulk of my entries are typically spawned from unrepentant annoyance. The only things bothering me presently are either extremely personal or utterly banal, and I have principles against useless, white-noise posting.
Eventually, I'll have a sudden flash of inspiration, I'm sure, combined with the actual incentive to channel it here. And thus the world will continue to turn.
