Finally, after a long hiatus, I got to go to a weekend show with Buddy. My mom came down and we went to an Appalachian Appaloosa Association show. It seems that Mondays in Michigan is getting to be a trend. Skip and I left for MI on Sunday, we were supposed to leave at 7am, but it turned into 10:30 of course. One more week of school and then all the horses will go home and I will be taking one deep breath. I am hoping to plant a garden this summer in my front yard. However I am currently procrastinating pulling weeds in my garden beds so adding more work to the equation may not be a good idea. NYE didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would. After a rather normal Christmas Celebration, save for the power going out several hours before my Grandma's party but being turned on 20 minutes after we spent an hour getting the generator running, we spent Christmas day running from Skip's grandma's on his mom's side and then off to his Dad's side in Fayetteville.
