I love the trailers for 'The Happening'. Every time I see it, I imagine the alternate narration was something like: Remember when you were bored by the movie with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson?
Remember when you laughed at the aliens who were allergic to water?
Remember that other movie ... you know ... the one in the woods? And ... uhm ...

I'm the sucker who keeps shelling out money to see his films. Though I did wait until the Mel Gibson one was on DVD and I've yet to see the pool-nymph one. (When I first saw that on your entry I thought it said "poo-nymph" and then thought "well, maybe he has made a XXX film")

honestly, I don't even remember the name of that Bruce Willis/Samuel L Jackson one I sat through w/you.

All I remember is I liked Samuel L Jackson's coat.

I just remember the opening sequence and saying to you, "Aw crap! Is this gonna be a comic book movie? DAMN IT!" And you shrugged as if to say, "you're the dumbass who wanted to see this movie."

One of the guys I work with admitted he was going to see it. When ask why he said he was a horror movie junkie that had already visited so many hours of disappointment upon himself he saw no reason to stop.

Then we spent the rest of the meeting blaming all of the problems on the project on The Happening.

Question: "When do you think you'll be ready for QC?"

Answer: "Not sure, The Happening corrupted all my working files. I think I'll have to start over from scratch."
