I feel like I should post an update ... but, to be honest, I don't really have all that much to say. Life is good, work is fine, happy that USA Basketball starts tonight, finally catching up with 'Mad Men' and loving it, yadda, yadda, yadda. Which is all good for me ... but doesn't make for interesting reading, methinks.

i miss being able to have a huge choice for shows like when i lived in Austin. Springfield, MO and Corpus aren't exactly music meccas!

I was having a great week and said, "You know, I can picture living here."
Almostimmediately after I said that, the radio had a commercial that said something like, "This Saturday, The Outfield! Don't miss the concert of the summer!!!"
And I ammended, "well ... maybe not live here ..."

it was on the front page of the weekend insert thingie on the newspaper, on the radio...everything. i was like, WTF. i was living in Phoenix and was getting backstage to all sorts of kickass shows.
yeah, i'm hatin'. it's gotten a lot better since they opened Concrete Street...that is where the majority of the decent shows are at here.
if gas wasn't so exhorbitant i'd be able to venture up to Austin more often for concerts. damnit. stupid $4 a gallon.
