Well, if we were created by a higher power such as God, that doesn't mean he knows what we will do. There is no reason to create humans if he knew what we were all going to do. If I place myself as a creator, I would create beings because I don't know what will happen, and I want to see how everything turns out. It would be extremely boring if you were a higher power and knew what everyone would do. So, therefore in my mind I do not believe a higher power controls our fate. God may however give us a push or impulses towards certain choices, but ultimately I believe we have the final say.

So you're saying that God is not omniscient, and therefore played blind darts with fate just because otherwise he would be bored?

Haha, come on.

God could still be omniscient with what I said. It's just that he chooses not to know everything, instead of knowing every single outcome. To the degree of him knowing what will happen, I am obviously not sure. If he wanted, he could look at all the different choices we would choose. But do you understand how boring that would be? Put yourself in that position. I understand we're not God, but it's just very logical to not want to know every single outcome. For all eternity, knowing what your creations would do. NOTHING would surprise you. I'm pretty sure God would enjoy his creations surprising him.

This is just my thoughts on it, because it feels more logical. Some may say you can't apply human logic to God, but I believe you can apply some.

Choosing not to know still means that the deity essentially gambled with the fate of the Earth. You can believe that if you want, I'm just not sure if that's what a self-sacrificing God would want to do.

I'm from a Western nation which is as ruled by that religion as almost any other, so of course there are similarities. But as you know, the difference is that I am not sure. I bring up more than one possibility and do not confirm it myself, as is consistent with both science and the best metaphysical practices.

But, there are always possibilities that I have not considered. In retrospect, I was not be correct to limit the structure of time to these two concepts. Still, I could edit and re-edit this entry throughout a lifetime and never be close to a good answer. My insubstantially human thinking will have to do. ^^
