It's a shame that many people I've met in real life or talked to online seem to not think global warming is not a problem. They either think the effects are over exaggerated or not going to happen in their lifetimes. It's a shame we can't start changing how things are working. But, the problem lies in the businesses and that people are not truly investing for the sole purpose of bettering the world. They only move if there is profit to be made.

Though, I've met a lot of people who believe it's a real problem. Hopefully soon we see some action taken to change energy sources and clean up the environment.

Well, the greatest hope for action against climate change is that it is profitable to act against it. If companies look more towards long term results and try to establish themselves on a scale of financial centuries rather than years, then they will surely play their part. Already, some are doing so, and new companies are being created when there is a lack of enthusiasm from existing giants.

There is hope, don't worry. It is no coincidence that the first Green MP was elected in the UK Parliament in their last election, or that as of the elections here in Australia last week, we now have the Australian Greens in the balance of power in our Senate, not to mention our own first Green MP in the Lower House. Perhaps we can dare to hope for a Green member of the US House of Congress, as the UK and Australia are often considered great testing grounds for the coming political ripples in America.

Perhaps it's time that the two party behemoths of each of our nations shrunk and made room for a newer, truer democracy.
