i like the analysis. i think when i answered the question i was assuming that each category would have a desirable person, aka someone already compatible, and that the options were the situation said person could be in. the notion that c necessarily is a slutty person seemed to throw off some peoples' answers; i saw it as more they don't have recent strong commitments to any one person. does that mesh with your t3st?

Well the only way to isolate this variable is to make all other things equal right?

So yeah each category has an equally desirable person... or you can just as easily imagine it as a girl that you really like but you don't know her sexual history beyond knowing that her last serious bf was 6 months ago. Given the 3 choices... which 6-months of life do you give her?

"slut" is a value judgement they are making. apparently you're cool with the pace situation I described for C and wouldn't call her a slut right?

Hypothesis regarding Pro-wrestling boys results:

I would hypothesize that most of the boys that answered (B) in your poll were single and had a lot of friends that are girls-- aka: wishful thinking.

Yeah good call.

Or they want the option of an extended test drive. That's an angry cynical bunch so maybe they don't want relationships at all. That would be bad role-playing though as I clearly stated that you like the girl enough to date her. *shrug*

The guy who produced that quote lives is a half-Cherokee who lives in Oklahoma City. His anger is justified. ;)
