I recently started working as the executive assistant to the Assistant General council to the Tyson's Corner office of a pretty big corporation. It's been somewhat stressful adjusting from being part of a administrative team of sorts... to being someone's only assistant. I wouldn't decide which second round schools to apply to based on W&M's decision. There are enough X factors and voodoo that goes into admissions decisions that you focusing on anything other than your own qualifications and goals would be too distracting. Good luck!

I don't really know how it's gonna work. They need more door guys on nights where there are main stage shows, so more often it'll be thurs-saturday... but nothing so regular as "every friday". I'm training for a few shifts anyway so who knows. Mgr said "a night or two a week until the busy season, then I'll just ask for whatever you can give me."

Plus I don't think of it as being shafted. I was trying to figure out a way to have a part time job to keep my schedule nice and hectic while I earn some extra money. With this job I'm not earning much but I'll be meeting people and getting into shows for free etc.

what's this door guy business? are you the stampy fellow or the stern looking one who kicks people out of the red room for puking on themselves? very cool either way. good luck on your first shift!

ps-- report back if any underage girls try to barter a sneak peek of their boobs for a hand stamp, or if you get to kick out aforementioned underage girls for being skanky hobags.
