Is this the Ian whom you brought to Phil's standup. AKA the Scotch know-it-all?

Oh and dude, now that we are getting older, its ok to drop friends. You're goal is to keep the ones who have been there for you through thick and thin. My life has been way better with the small amount of friends I now have. SO yeah do expect that list to go DOWN!

It's not ok to drop friends and I refuse to believe that losing people makes your life better. I don't believe there are phases of life as in "now I have to make a lot of friends" and "now I have to keep friends".

I look at my parents and my dad has like 2 friends.
I look at my mom and she's a bit better she has about 5.

I do NOT want to be like that. When I look at my life 30 years from now and can only name maybe 3 people who are still friends because "as you get older expect that list to go DOWN" well it never stops. You lose more and more no matter what, not just to not being friends-but when people move away, die in accidents/medical issues, or you just float away as people.
