I love this line. It's so beautifully descriptive, an ominous foreshadow of the things to come.

I love the contrast between the beginning and the ending parts. He's still trying to help her out/still being a decent guy, even if he is pissed. He's letting her stay there, at least until she has a different place to stay there.
And then, oh damn, and then.
You have such a way with words. Sigh.
(also, I love how Mrs. H is worrying over the whereabouts of her son. shining moment of - I don't want to say happiness, so maybe ...? IDK - in this very dark and unhappy fic)

At first it was weird trying to picture Finn as scary since he's so sweet in canon, but we did get to see a more aggresive side of him in Sectionals, so if he got drunk, it's plausible that he may react like that.
It was short but really powerful. I really liked it.
