The holidays sure have been busy. On the 23rd mom and I went to my brother's in West Chester to celebrate Christmas (Linda wanted to get Jacob (her grandson, my great-nephew) "fresh" as she put it. The new season of Lost is almost here!

I wasn't as bored as I thought I'd be today. I was working on the mailing list. It is such a mess. We are using this software and its really confusing. The trouble is is that one cannot make certain changes. Frustrating!

I had a good time at Ren Fest last Sunday. The weather was perfect! The grounds were a little muddy here and there because of the rain, but it was mostly OK. I felt sorry for those dressed in costume, though. Either they stayed on the gravel paths, or their boots were possibly ruined. The hems on the dresses probably got messy, too ( Read more... )

I had a busy morning today. When I got to the office, our receptionist wasn't there. I thought, Oh No! not another day at the front desk. Luckily her bus just broke down and she was only going to be about 10 minutes late. Thank goodness! I'm minding the front desk this week. Tomorrow ought to be a real fun day. One backup is on vacation and the other one is going to a meeting from 10:00 to 3:00. Did you hear about the Twinkie Thief? Someone took a box of twinkies to the cashier at a store (I think it was Walgreen's) on the west side of town. When the cashier opened the drawer, the person told the cashier to empty the cash register! Of all the nerve! Using Twinkies as a ploy to rob a store! Terrible!
