Hey banana, I just wanted to say that I don't think it is idiotic or base to want to meet someone or be with someone- I think that being in a relationship is very purposeful and if it's a good one, it's a very meaningful job to be there for someone you love. So don't feel silly for wanting a boyfriend. I'm sure that you already know that, and it's easy for me to be all, "I have dave so love is wonderful, blah blah blah." However, I do have some guy friends who are really good people and they have the same love laments that you have and that I've had in the past, so I think it is just a matter of it being hard to find a good match. They're out there, the really nice, good guys, but I think people are just so complicated and weird, that finding the right match-ups and the right timing are the parts that make good relationships so elusive. Plus, it bugs me that there is this cultural opinion that makes you feel like a loser if you are looking for a boyfriend and really want to find someone.
