So I decided to try and get a credit card of my own today after getting one of those letters in the mail. All I have now is my Visa debit card and a Discover card, which can't be used anywhere. but out of curiosity, how do you look at your credit history?

Well if the home renovations are in your name, I'd tell your dad to "Get the hell out of my house" until he makes the necessary fixes.
