But how if Aiba forgot that he talked to Sho in the very next day? Or the shocking fact that Aiba has more than one personality?

Second Entry

Spring, March 30th

Aiba Masaki is a mystery, I never really care about other people but he is different… I have to admit he is good looking and looks fragile from time to time, that’s not the point Sho! He is weird, yet very interesting, very amusing… very confusing… He was able to bring up all my emotions with all his unpredictable actions, I never felt bored, at all… While he made me busy to pick him up when he is lost, or when he didn’t have any money because he played at video game center too much, or when he fell asleep on a bench. All happened because somehow, after he got my number, it placed as his first speed dial. I’m not complaining, in fact I’m enjoying… Facing him is like giving an order to five years old kid not to open a box, the more he said no, the more I want to know about him…

Who are you Aiba Masaki? Do you really wear a mask? Are you really clumsy? Or are you hiding the real you from me?

To-do-list:
- Find a date for the festival, you will look stupid if you go there alone, even more stupid if you lock yourself in your room.

“Sho-chan!” Sho couldn’t help but get startled when a jumpy guy waved energetically to him, his brown hair looked so beautiful under the sunlight floating around according to the slightly blowing wind. The guy smiled widely to Sho who approached him hastily before he would draw too much attention.

“Aiba-kun, did you wait too long?” Sho asked the slender guy who immediately shook his head, “I just arrived here when your professor opened the door!”

Sho tried to stop wondering what had happened to Aiba after that morning’s conversation when Aiba tried to run away from him, once again. He didn’t want to avoid him in every way, the idea itself wasn’t nice for him although he never really cared what people thought about him. But instead avoiding him, Aiba’s presence was never absent not even for a day.

“You are not Aiba Masaki, who are you?”Sho caught his wrist while feeling how his heart started to beat two times faster than normally. Aiba looked at him, his expression was unreadable but still calm and it looked stoic. What am I talking about? I look like I lost my mind-

“Are you drunk?”

Or drunk…

“I’m not, I’m sorry…” Sho sighed, lost at words. He looked drunk that’s probably true. In slow motion he freed Aiba’s hand. “It’s just… you suddenly changed…”

“What part of me is it that changed to be exact?” The other frowned to Sho, showing his annoyed expression. What part of him changed? His expressions? His attitudes? His gaze? His parlance? What?

“It’s… I don’t know… I’m sorry, I don’t understand myself…”

“As expected…” He looked at Sho with pity expression as he said, “I don’t have any interest in your confusion, so if you’ll excuse me, Sho-chan…”Sho’s eyes widened when he felt Aiba call the most friendly nick name he ever had with such a formal attitude. Did he annoy him that much?

“Thank you for the energy drink,” He added coldly as he closed the front door of Sho’s apartment.

Sho was ready with his apology but then he saw Aiba brightly smile for him the next day, he greeted Sho when they, by a chance, met on their veranda. Sho didn’t understand, although he didn’t try to stick his nose into Aiba’s dangerous zone anymore. Sho tried to not care about Aiba’s feelings, either he forgot or he forgave Sho, by not bringing up that morning’s incident anymore.

Even so, Sho wanted to know more about him, he didn’t try to dig deeper from Aiba, but it didn’t mean he would stop so easily. He tried to search for information about the mysterious guy from his friends right after Aiba told him that he is studying in the university next to Sho’s. Aiba is weird, that’s all he got, his major is music, as his minor is wind instrumental, although he can play piano and guitar at the same time. He is good at dancing (that made Sho laugh hardly because the Aiba he knows, wasn’t even able to walk straight without crushing onto something), he is good at singing and drawing, Aiba Masaki is an amazingly talented freak. But no one seems know more than that, his family, his hometown, all remains a mystery…

“Some of my friends asked me about you,” Sho opened the conversation as they walked back to their apartment. Now as it became a habit, Aiba would pick him up in front of his class and they would walk back together, or sometimes if they had the same schedule they would walk to university together.

“Why? Am I disturbing?” His eyes widened as Sho tried his best to ignore his gaze and arranged his sentences.

“No, in fact they have a kind of crush on you,” Sho answered, trying to look not that interested in Aiba’s response, somehow failed but at least it worked just fine for Aiba.

“Ah~ I see… Well, you can tell them I have no interest in relationship…” Aiba answered, slightly covered his lips and coughed as he continued, “In general… you know…”

Sho smiled in content, although again Aiba didn’t notice it, “I will…”

They both drowned in their own thought until Sho mentally slapped himself, why didn’t he think about it earlier, “Aiba-kun, are you free this afternoon?”

“Hm?” Aiba turned his gaze at Sho as he frowned, Sho found himself sink in Aiba’s eyes, wasn’t able to neither comprehend anything nor deflect his gaze to at least gain back his sanity, “No, I have part time job…”

For a second Sho wasn’t able to say anything until Aiba raised his eyebrow in confusion, waiting for his response, “I see…” Sho murmured, a rejection from Aiba, that was it.

“What is it?” Aiba questioned him and Sho just noticed the disappointment written all over his face, tried to change his expression immediately but failed miserably, he answered, “It’s nothing…”

Aiba pursed his lips, “Tell me what is it…” He whined slightly. Sho knew Aiba would continue to whine and after all he would tell him everything anyway.

“It’s just my university festival, nothing important-.”

“What about your university festival?” His eyes turned bigger in excitement, Sho could almost imagine him jumping around.

“It’s tonight and I thought of asking you to go there with me if you are free, but-.”

“Is it a date?” Aiba cut him immediately, eyes glowing, or at least that was what Sho saw.

“Errr… well… you can say so…” Sho stammered.

He always thought that he has weakness to Aiba’s eyes but when he saw Aiba’s smile grown wider he found another weak point. “I will be there!”

“What about the part time?”

Aiba waved his hand randomly, “I will call my friend, because I can’t reject a date with Sho-chan, can I?” He laughed cheerfully.

Sho smiled in response as he felt relief, “I will wait for you at my university gate then?”

“Perfect!” The wrinkles appeared on his eye’s sides when he replied Sho’s smile.

~*~

Sho was ten minutes earlier when he reached his university gate, wearing the thin brown t-shirt and jeans. Aiba was still nowhere to be spotted, as people started to enter the gate, mumbled random things to their date or friends, as some of Sho’s classmates waved to him. Sho looked around for the next ten minutes, after that since Aiba still didn’t arrive, he waited another fifteen minutes, twenty, thirty, Sho waited but the guy he waited for didn’t even come.

He grunted as he reached for his phone to call Aiba’s number but instead dialed his number but got the answer machine as response, “Hiya! It’s Masaki, if you still need me leave me a message after the beep, talk to you soon! I wonder if I need to say beep or will they really give a beep for everyone’s answering machines… anyway! Beeeepp!”

Sho rolled his eyes as he left his message, “Where are you, Aiba-kun? I’m waiting for thirty minutes already! Call me back!”

Thirty-five minutes, forty minutes, forty-five minutes, forty-five minutes and thirty-seven seconds, Sho was still waiting…

Sho was literally cursing when he realized that Aiba just dumped him. Wait, there is no relationship at all since the beginning so at least he wasn’t dumped by someone. He was not in the mood to join the festival after the whole idea of Aiba either forgetting about their date or doing whatever he wants like always and made Sho wait, while both weren’t great ideas for Sho. He left his university, feeling so damn mad and annoyed, Aiba could at least inform him so that Sho wouldn’t have waited for too long but he didn’t even care at all.

He passed the twenty-four hours store where Aiba works on the way back to his apartment. He glanced to the store, half wished that he would find Aiba standing behind the cashier table but again, it was only his wishes. He walked in to buy his dinner still hoping to find Aiba there, somewhere in the shop. Now he was sure that Aiba didn’t forget about him and worked instead meeting him in front of the university gate, the worry started to crept on his heart. Where is he…?

He placed his food box as the cashier worked on it, “Umm… I’m wondering if Aiba-kun works today…”

The cashier turned his gaze to Sho, judging but the he smiled, “He asked me to exchange place today… you are one of the guys that have things for him?”

Sho raised his eyebrow, annoyed with the cashier compliment, “He has date today, he said,” The shopkeeper smirked as he observed Sho’s expression, tried to catch if Sho would show any sign of broken heart but Sho rolled his eyes, the guy he dates would be me.

The fact that Aiba was even more popular than he thought punched him, this cashier wanted him to stepped back from Aiba for sure. “Thank you,” Sho said as he took his bag and left the cashier without saying anything.

Right after he left the shop, the feeling of madness had leave him completely, the only thing left now was just worry. He didn’t go to festival, didn’t even call Sho but didn’t work as well, although he really exchanged his shift with someone else, then where is he?

Sho tried to call him again but the silly Aiba’s message welcomed him again. He started to fasten his steps as he tried to reach him again and again. Sho felt the sweat wet his temple as he ran as fast as he could, needing to make sure that Aiba is okay no matter what and the only place he could think of was his apartment. That was when he caught a sight in the sidewalk, a body crumpled to the ground, the dim of the light made it seem like a pile of clothes but Sho was sure it was a body. He ran to the direction as the fear started to build inside his chest, it cannot be him…

He knelt in front of the guy as he tugged him slowly, the guy was slightly frowning, lips clutched tightly, while he tried to breathe dearly…

It’s him…

Sho freaked out when he saw Aiba in that state, “Aiba-kun? Aiba-kun! What happened?!”

He could see the later open his eyes slightly, as he mumbled incoherently, “Sho… chan… wait…”

“For the God’s sake what happened to you?” Sho cried in desperation as he touched his neighbor’s temple and felt the high temperature burn his palm. “You are sick…” He tugged Aiba closer to his chest and tried to warm him up, then he gave the guy a piggy back, brought them back to their apartments. He searched for Aiba’s key in his pocket and opened the door with his trembling hands. Half running, he placed Aiba to the bed and covered him with the blanket. He ran to the kitchen, noisily looking for medicine and compress for Aiba. When he was back Aiba still mumbled incoherently, half conscious. Sho placed his hand on Aiba’s back as he supported the guy to sit and leaned his back to the head of the bed, “Here, the medicine…”

Sho placed two pills to his palm, he nodded to Aiba when the guy swallowed the medicine obediently. Aiba smiled weakly to Sho, “I’m sorry… I didn’t manage, did I?”

“Stop talking about that! Why didn’t you tell me that you are sick?” Sho asked him, he was mad, so mad to himself because he thought Aiba had dumped him. Then the memory flashed back when Aiba coughed slightly when they talked before the festival, “Why didn’t I notice…” Sho murmured to himself.

“I’m sorry Aiba-kun, I didn’t notice that you are sick…”

“It’s not your fault, it’s me who wanted to go no matter what…” Sho grimaced when he saw Aiba’s weak smile, Sho hates that smile…

“We still have other opportunities to go out, don’t risk your health for something not important like going out with me…”

“But it’s important…” Aiba frowned slightly in disapproval, “For me…”

Sho caught the discomfort on Aiba’s expression as he said, “It’s important for me as well… but, your health is more important…”

He smiled to Sho, “We still have other time, you said?”

Sho nodded his head, “Yes… any time you want…”

“I’m happy…”

Maybe it was his smile that always drives Sho crazy, or his gaze that always makes Sho fail to arrange the smart sentences, or maybe just because the overwhelming emotion suddenly burst out, or any other reasons that Sho didn’t even understand. Sho tilted his face, slowly moved to Aiba’s.

“Eh?” Aiba backed up for a little but Sho’s hand restrained him from moved away. Sho stared to the other’s round brown eyes as he slowly let his eyelid closed. But the next second he was thrown to the floor as he felt a hard thing brutally hit his cheek. He opened his eyes in shock while feeling the taste of blood on his lips. Aiba looked back at him above his bed, his breath was irregular as he held on his own fist, that punched Sho some seconds ago.

“What was that for?” Sho groaned as he felt the pain on his jaw. “Aiba-kun?”

The later looked at Sho, the different gaze that made the cold sensation run all over Sho’s body. “I’m not Aiba Masaki.”

“What?” Sho gasped in shock.

“I’m Matsumoto Jun and now you have three seconds to move your ass out of this room! One... Two…”

Sho stared to Aiba’s eyes and couldn’t find the familiar and warm feeling he usually get if he looked into his eyes. He desperately looked for Aiba’s gaze but failed, it wasn’t him… It was a different person…

Aiba’s eyes narrowed as he count down, “Three…”

AN : ja jang! did this chapter make you even more confused? XD
I will explain about multiple personalities a lil bit kay~ you will get more explanation from Sho on next chapters :D
so, multiple personalities is not just about being a good boy and bad boy at the same time, every human has both sides and it doesn't make us have personality disorder. Multiple personalities is a bit... complicated, the easier way to explain it, is just like more than one souls live in one body. They are completely different, different gender, age, appearance (yes, appearance, such height, weight, face, etc) usually they have their own name, skill, and many more.
still confused? stay tuned on this story and it's okay to ask me anything~ <3
I will try to answer if I can ^^
