Sho rubbed his forehead abrasively, his eyebrows almost met in the middle showing his desperate way of frowning. It didn’t lessen his headache at all, or what was it actually? His chest felt so heavy, he desperately trying to manage his regulation, breathe in… breathe out… and left the rest of his concentration on the dark way to his apartment. It was a mistake… Sho thought. From the very beginning it was…
No one really blessed them to be together, except their colleagues and best friends at the same time, Arashi. Sho thought it would change together with the rotation of the earth to sun, everything would change and everyone would understand. Because it was just a simple thing, what so hard about understand that he loves Aiba?
But it left only on Sho’s head. Five years of his relationship, his family never see him again in the eyes. Then when suddenly they called him to back home (and made it very clear that he’s been invited there alone) he thought the time was coming. When Aiba could step again inside his family house. Because it just so hurtful for Sho to see his disappointed face that washed over soon when he reassured Sho he was fine. Just to not make another pressure for him. He would touch Sho’s forehead gently and said, “Stop frowning… It’s okay…”
It is NOT okay.
He didn’t want to see his little brother smirked to him while they talked about Aiba, asking what’s so great about dating him. Because really, it would take years to list them and Sho didn’t even need reason to love Aiba. Sho couldn’t stand the way his father talked about Aiba, how his words were soft but piercing his heart. He couldn’t date Aiba and he couldn’t be gay, because he was a Sakurai. The first child of Sakurai that would bring the name on his shoulders, and Aiba couldn’t help Sho to continue the Sakurai’s blood line.
Though he was unwanted child, Sho needed to attend the Sakurai’s family gathering, as single. He wasn’t blind, he could see people staring at him, talking behind his back. About how inappropriate his lifestyle, if living with the one you loved was including as wrong, forgetting that your lover was a he. How long would it last? When he could freely boast his Masaki around, dating hand in hand without afraid of being hurt. Not only his family, it feels like the whole world looked at them with their judging eyes.
He almost broke into tears when his car reached the parking ground of his apartment, half running he barged into the empty lift, closing it in rush and hoping no one stop its way. He was rushing his step and opened his luxury apartment welcomed by the darkness. Aiba already slept, that what he told his lover earlier anyway, to not waiting for him. Restlessly he walked toward his bedroom and found Aiba curled under their thick blanket.
Sho landed lightly in the mattress and found himself staring at the peaceful Aiba. His breath was steady and lips half parted letting the soft snores escaped. The heavy feeling inside his chest suddenly lessened as the frown between his eyebrows totally gone. He slipped his arm under the younger’s head and brought him into his embrace, laughing lightly when Aiba sighed in content and snuggled closer to his chest. How easy to laugh when he was with Aiba, how easy to forget about his burdens, how easy to forget that he is a Sakurai, because for Aiba he was only Sho-chan. Then why he needs a reason to be with him? Why does he need to think about other people’s thoughts in the first place?
Sho closed his eyes as he remembering his lover’s smile that day, “Stop frowning… It’s okay…”
“Sho-chan, people throw rocks at things that shine and life makes love look hard. But they can’t take what’s ours Sho-chan, this love is ours…”
Sho smiled as the warm body on his embrace and the fragrance of Aiba’s shampoo drifted his consciousness slowly. Right, this love is ours, Masaki…

A/N : Totally random (I wrote it when I waited to be pick up from work lol) and very much insipred by Taylor Swift's song "Ours". I love the song sooo much and when I heard it for first time I couldn't stop thinking about Sakuraiba somehow. So jajang~ maybe not that great but I'm glad I can actually write something (and I have to finish the unfinished fic I know *cries in the corner). Comments, critism, love? always appreciated XDD
