My first poll

So I was being a judgmental mother (in my head not out loud) and then I thought that I should actually find out how old other people were when they could tie shoelaces before being so judgmental. So for my own research:

Poll Tying shoelaces

this one should read <4, but I don't know how to go back and edit the code

I learned to tie my shoes because my older took it upon herself to teach me. She invented the "tie a shoe" club. :)

Neither of my kids had any interest in shoes that had actual laces. It's not that they couldn't learn, but rather, it took too long when they could just velcro instead. My son still won't buy shoes with laces, but of course, he has baseball and soccer shoes that tie.

So I said 5 on both, but... I don't really remember when I learned to tie my shoes. Except I did tie them when I started school, as far as I can recall. My kids learned when they were about five too, but that's not to say that they loved doing it. Godlet hasn't enjoyed tying his laces before now (and he's eight this coming Saturday).

Who's struggling with the laces?
