RIP Appliances

Tis not been a good week to be an electrical appliance in my house. Our DVD player died, the second one for the year - it may or may not have had something to do with the exuberant three year old and his treatment of said machine. Energies have been strange. Which I know because i have been strange. Stranger than usual, I should probably say. ;-J And I would not at all be surprised if that affected electrical appliances too. Even if they were helped by a 3-year old. But why do you need a bread maker to make pizza dough? Isn't it warm enough to get a good rise Down Under? :-)

I think that the dough was far enough through the process to be usable, but I was going to make two batches. And it really wasn't warm in my house this morning because there was a power cut for nearly four hours and it is only about 12 degrees outside. As for why I need it to make the dough in the first place, because I'm lazy!

I normally only use it to make special loaves of bread as I normally just buy but I had begun to experiment a little more with it. I used to use it all the time when Alyssa was little as I used a special mix to make bread that she could eat when she was allergic to everything. So I guess it was getting on in age.

Strange energies on this continent, too. Both dear Oatmeal and my son Duffy have injured their backs. Nothing broken but only light lifting and no ladders for four to six weeks. Step-son 's wife has given birth to a daughter and everyone on the picture distribution list was spammed with a vicious email berating him for having a child. My first husband's third wife's partner keeps having to be taken to the emergency room an hour and a half from where they live. Elder daughter's car was rear ended. I am living in a soap opera.

Dear Oatmeal just fixed my bouncing email and showed me how to clean the CD/DVD player so Yo-Yo Ma sounds like himself again, so maybe the spell is broken.
