Question for my American flist

Nov 10, 2009 20:31

The Captain is heading to The States later on this month, he has a great uncle who lives in Pensylvania(sp?) who has been nagging him to visit so we thought we might take this opportunity. So what would be the cheapest airline to fly from Orlando to Philidelphia airport? any hints would be greatly appreciated, thnx

Hi there. I live in Philly so I really used to flying in and out. If you know the dates, I would also try Southwest.com. If you're flexible with the dates, they have a Low Fare Calendar, and you can fly on the date that has the lower fare. Depends on when you're flying but I found round-trip tickets for $150 roundtrip, which is not that bad at all.

Hope this helps!

thank you! I've found some great fares so far, hopefully they will still be available next week when we have to book.

I use kayak.com to check prices. They automatically query expedia, travelocity, and a bunch of airline sites - so you know you get the best rate available on the web. I don't know if the regional carriers are covered by kayak - you might need to check those directly.

I don't suppose you're coming too? Not that it matters...'later this month' is probably the week I'm in Virginia -- and Philly isn't that close. Still...

I agree that you should check with Southwest.com. All other good fairs would probably pop up on Orbitz, Expedia, or some other websites like that.
