Can I ask for an explanation of the 'Spa Queen' thing? I've now seen it referenced multiple times on LJ recaps...

Uh, apparently it was Vic's idea, but I have no real recollection of coming up with it - something about sending her off for a weekend's vacation, and while the cultists think she's been kidnapped by one of their own (and would believe such, as cults acts in cells so as to avoid detection and summary destruction) then they'll move to take over the kingdom - cue the Spa Queen returning from her spa weekend right as the cultists are trying to take power, and chopping the head off the influential ones in a single move.

Rather good idea, all things considered. I'm sort of astonished that it was Vic's. cointeach can tell it better than I can.

Why is her nickname Cadence?

Because Vic tends to think Prudence should have the last word on most things, and presents said last word with great sense of resolution. And because some days she's a strong Cadence and some days she's a weak Cadence, which goes well with the musical terminology. :P

Vic has names like this for EVERYONE. But Pru's is one I'm very proud of.
