i'm alive!!!!!
*gasp* i'm updating my journal!!!!!!!! is the world ending?
i've decided that it's about time i start updating this again. my life has changed so completely since i last did a real post....and i'm going to TRY to make posts more regularly. emphasis on the try, you all know how i suck at updating regularly haha
h'okay...i had to go look to see when my last REAL update was, and it was over two years ago...gosh i suck! so i guess i'll just kind of tell you the important stuff and if you're nosy and want to know more you can ask ^_^
i moved back home with my parents last september *rolls eyes* after 4 years in cincinnati, i decided i didn't want to be stuck at that school for 3 more years so i was just going to finish up online. once i decided that my dad said he wouldn't pay for me to live down there, sooooooo being poor, i moved back home.
it hasn't been as bad as i thought it could be. my mom gave up her scrapbooking/sewing room in the basement so i could have my own space and not have to share a room with my 17 year old sister. my room is pretty freaking sweet and i love it, i'd just like it more if it wasn't in my parents basement haha i spent this summer redoing the rec room/den...whatever, in the basement. sooo now i only have to go upstairs to shower and get food haha. i even have a sweet booth from bob evans =) my brother stole it hahahahahaha
i broke up with eric last july, but it wasn't really official until i moved...it just wasn't meant to be. i think i always knew that, i just didn't want to admit it to myself. and let me tell you, he's had no problem moving on whatsoever. he had a new girlfriend in january, they moved in together in april and now they're engaged and expecting TWINS in february. WTF????? whatever, i'm sooooooooo glad that it isn't me. is that bad?
i on the other hand am single still...i had a longterm crush on my brother's best friend that started when he went on vacation with us right after eric and i broke up...and it lasted until eh...probably just a couple months ago. but i have COMPLETELY gotten over that, took long enough. plus he's only 19, i'm such a cradle robber!!! haha
i also had a short....thing with a boy in cincinnati. quite recently actually. we were never officially dating, so i don't really know what to call it. haha but it only lasted like 2 weeks. cuz he turned into the biggest DICK in the world. ugh...that story could do with a post of it's own. so you'll have to wait on that one ;-)
what else........oh! school. i took a few classes online last fall, but i got so burnt out i stopped and took the rest of the year off. i went back this fall to the local community college. and...i'll be a college graduate at the end of spring quarter!!!!!!!!!! yay after six EFFING years it's about time!!!! haha
i've worked at aeropostale for almost 2 years now. i LOVE it. obviously since i transferred up here when i moved. haha but the store i work at now is ten thousand times better than the one i was at in cincinnati. everyone that works there is friends outside of work. it's great. plus i'm up for a promotion soon *crosses fingers*
despite the lack of total freedom...well, i guess i still have my freedom, my parents just always ask where i'm going and sometimes i don't want to tell them....i have met some amazing people since moving back home. i don't know what i would do without them. AND i have been able to get involved in my church. which, lets be honest i didn't even GO when i was in cincinnati. and i love this church soooooo much! it's way better than the one i grew up in. i feel like i belong instead of always feeling like an outsider. we do musicals twice a year which is SUPER fun...and i'm pretty involved in the young adults group. =)
i think that pretty much sums everything up...you get a cookie if you read that entire thing! haha and i promise, i'll be updating more frequently from now on.
