happy birthday! it's nice that you got the day off, since those birthday plans to reflect and then have a laid-back celebration are quite appealing.
hopefully, I'll have time to call you, or write a longer email, but I wanted to cover this base in case I take longer than I should.
now that you're close by, I'd love to come see you in philly sometime.
interestingly, I had the opposite reaction to the aesthetics of the number 23 versus 24. 23 never did it for me, it just seemed like an ugly number. but 24, with all its factors--and I used to play a math game for elementary school students, the object of which was to take four numbers and use them to get to 24--has been treating me really well so far. now I'm over halfway to 25, which seems like another nice number. I guess I don't like the primes, so we'll see how I feel about 29. mostly, I'm already dreading 31.
that was an absurdly long digression. anyway. may you have a very happy 24th, and many happy returns!
You should definitely come by sometime this summer! We can discuss numeric aesthetics etc then. I'll be super busy until c. 12th June but will contact you thereafter. P.S. I need your number because last month I fell in a ditch with my phone in my pocket and it broke.
Happy Birthday! Sorry I missed it- I should have called you yesterday. Anyway, I'm sure I will see you in Clark Park- I am finally off work for the summer
Thanks Dana! It was a good birthday. I will definitely be in touch with you. As I wrote to Emma upstairs, all is manic til mid-month, but I hope we can meet up then. Be well & enjoy beautiful West Philly in the beautiful weather.
