He asked me what I wanted to do as a career and I told him probably major in theatre, and he went on this big talk about how 3 of his students are on Broadway now, and now 4 have been in the past and 5 have been in national tours of

Yay, Dan! And don't worry about learning the piano...I personally don't think it's that hard. I mean, it is, but learning it will be fine. It's just getting good...that just involves a lot of practice. *shrugs* Not that I know much on the subject. I heart Brigadoon! What song is it?
