guess what this entry is about? i'll give you a hint: read the link.
so i'm watching it on tv, and i'm completely immersed in it. i mean, i like the record a lot, but it's never been one of my favorites. but just watching how much actually goes into the music(the amount of musicians, at times, is staggering) makes me respect it all the more. i came into it a little late, so i missed most of the first half of the cd(they perform the entire thing live) but i still got to see dare. boy, what a dissapointment that was. ick, with a side of blech. everything was great, until the(british?) guy started "singing." i hope to God that he was drunk(he was holding a bottle) 'cause his performance was just terrible.
i can't believe they let that guy on stage. but other then that, this is amazing. i haven't been this drawn into something in a long time. and it's in no way flashy or fast paced. the visuals are a lot like the music itself, subdued and dark. minus the drunk guy, it's excellent. i'd recommend you watch it. it's on a direct tv channel(101) and i know this is a re-run, so try to catch it if it comes on again.
anime expo, what can be said? it was great. the first day was pretty boring, but once i got into the "zone" i had a lot of fun. my cousin and five(yeah, six all together) slept in my spare room. needless to say, it smelled like ass. it was great going to the expo with super-scenesters like them, 'cause they were getting just as many pictures taken as the people in costume. *highlight of the weekend* it wasn't the merchandise or people or any of the events there, it was danny bonaduchi(sp?). yeah, we saw him there. by the time i worked up the guts to get a high five, he had dissapeared. i can at least say that i have a minute of danny b. in my life. i wish i would have brought my own camera though, 'cause i didn't want to bother the other guys to take of me and the "characters." picture i had to have taken though, was kratos(god of war). i just couldn't resist. i haven't got the picture yet though. oh yeah, hentai just laying on tables=scandolous. seriously, there's kids there. at least pretend to hide it.
so yeah, pretty good times had by all.
