change in the house of baitx(please read!)

so, some of you may be wondering what i've been hinting at as of late. well, if you haven't already found out, i'm moving. who, what, when, where, why and how? my, what little journalists you are.
who: i'm moving in with erik sverlow and his wife angel.
what: a cross-country trip in my buddy henry(car).
when: the movers are picking up my stuff wednsday the 30th of august. that's this upcoming wednsday.
where: goose creek, south carolina. it's far, i know. but it should be fun.
why: i've lived with my parents for the last 22 years, take a guess as to why i'd like to move. plus, i've been talking about living with erik since high school history class six years ago.
how: i'm having my stuff moved by truck(courtesy of erik) to SC. some time(no set schedule) after that, i'm driving(with a minimal amout of stuff) across this ol' country of ours. i'll be taking the 40(highway) for almost all of the trip. because i'd rather not sleep in my car or waste money staying at a motel, i'm trying to find places to sleep as i drive. so far i have; arizona, arkansas and tennessee to stay in. i'm looking for a place between arizona and arkansas to stay(it's quite the stretch of land).
how you can help(if you feel so inclined): besides that stretch of land i need a place to stay in, there are other things that need doin'. first of all, is a music player of some sort. i have the disc man and adapter for my car, but the cd player is kinda on the fritz. so if you have a portable cd player or mp3 player you want to give/sell to me, let me know. i can't promise much money(the majority of mine is going towards gas), but i'll try to make it reasonable. another thing that would be nice, would be any information about places to stop or eat at. even though i'm just driving through, i do want to make some stops and see the scenery. so know of anything good along the way? well then let me know. another thing that i definetely need is money. now, i'm not asking for money directly(though i am accepting it), but i'm willing to sell just about any of my stuff. know of any toys/games/dvds/comics/whatever else that you want from me? then let me know. we can work out a deal. over the years i've borrowed from you and you've borrowed from me. if there's anything i have of yours or that you have of mine, let me know. i've been too busy with planning the move to remember who has what.
most importantly, i'm looking for someone to take the trip with me. now, it may sound like that'd be easy to find someone to bring, but i don't have the money to fly the person back home. i realize that this is pretty selfish, asking someone to come along to keep me company, and then making them get a way home, but i figured i'd throw it out there. so yeah, if you're interested in a road trip, then let me know.
now, given the fact that i'm somewhat of a phenomenon around these parts(the world), i'm sure some of you want to hang out before i leave. at least, i hope you do. since there's no set date for me to leave, i can stick around for hangoutage for a while. but since the trucks will take my stuff on the 30th, i probably won't stick around too long afterwords. so let me know if you want to hang out or *fingers crossed* want to throw a party of some sort. hey, a girl can dream can't she?
