Today, I have my first Jury. Which means I will perform two monologues, a classical comedic and contemporary dramatic and then sit and listen to all of the performance faculty tell me what I'm doing right, wrong, and in between.

All day I've been reading and doing crosswords and memorizing to try to get my brain into gear. It really feels like mush and I can hardly focus on anything. Difficult but if I think. It should come back. Right? Right,. Ok, off to think.

I spent a week on the couch, sick. Then I came back to school trying to manage enough energy to get everything done that I needed to get done. Then I fell down the stairs and was on crutches until I tried to walk because I had a show this week. It's over now and the creative energy is absolutely gone.

I don't know if this is the way normal people think. In flashes and in the pushing away of thoughts. All the time. I really am not sure. And sometimes I wish someone would just tell me. "Hey. I'm always hungry lately.

I think I'm talking about food.

It's strange how some people can be so intensely wrapped up in your life and then at one point or another they just fall away completely. When you meet back up you realize that they are a stranger to you and at the same time, you are a total stranger to them.

Life is change.

I just want someone to put my pjs on and tuck me into bed.

In 3rd grade we had to do animal reports. The teacher put a fairly long list of animals on the board. We had to pick and I told the teacher I would like to wait to tell her which animal I wanted to do because I wanted to look for an original animal.
