this year started off good, a had a great girl friend, i was on the soccer team, and i was getting good grades, i don't know exactly when it was, but things all started to go bad, me and danielle started to fight, my grades began to slip, and slip untill i finally had more than 1 c. I think i ended that semester with no girl friend, and shity

Cory I completely agree with you, I feel like such a screw up too. Mike does have the best grades and he is very successful, but you're successful in other parts of your life, and colleges will see that. You're a mentor, you play varsity sports, you will get a really good grade on your ACT because you are naturally very smart, and you write really good essays. Some colleges want essays and interviews with the students applying; i'm sure when they read your essays and talk with you in person, they will see all the wonderful things you've accomplished. Your GPA may not be shining, but you have everything else and more - and colleges look for the well rounded students
