Yeah I have been there a few times for noise complaints... It's a little bit different. Definitely no more L&L.
I think some of the Meridian & SSDP kids are at 416 Griffin now. Or at least it seems that way from the party I got sent to a while back. I made a Ben Stein/Ferris Bueller joke that some drunk kid thought was WAAAAAY funnier than it actually was...
Must have been some other miscreants at 416 Griffin, although that house actually almost was in Meridian/SSDP hands last year. Sophia Serghi (music professor) was thinking of buying that house and putting some people in there, but someone beat her to the punch in making an offer. I don't know that my successors would appreciate my telling the police where they live, but there are police and then there are police.
Most but not all of what goes on in Williamsburg amongst the greater Meridian, ex-Psi U, WCWM, etc., is divided between a few places on Lafayette and my old (/Joe and Jake's more so old) house. My old house (with entirely rising sophomores and juniors to be be living in it next year) has probably been continually occupied by people within that sphere for the longest time of anywhere (people first moved in for fall of 2002, and we should be set through spring of 2011).
The official day that Grits is supposed to be is October 22, which is a Wednesday this year. I am pretty sure that they will do it on the 18th or the 25th, more likely the 25th. It is no longer my call, but I imagine there will be something lurking around about it on Facebook at about that time. If you stop by the Meridian at any point in October, I imagine that someone will be able to tell you when it is going to be.
now when the cock-rock plays, they break shit for funy, not because it's funny. and they're probly not so into the tales of hobbits and elves. or maybe it's all fallout boy

I know what you mean about police, don't worry.
Do they still do Grits Wrestling? I think it'd be a lot of fun to show up to that, for old time's sake. ;)
