My dog wants to be able to open doors. She stands up and puts a paw on either side of the knob and moves them up and down. She knows that is how it works, it needs to turn, but she can't get a grip on it and her feet don't stick to it.

This is adorable. I am glad that my cat isn't that advanced yet, though.
