I don't know whether I should feel horrified that Lauren is still having these thoughts or relieved that at least she didn't actually follow through with them (this time).

I just stumbled upon your story a few nights ago. I have to say, ti's one of the best things I've come across in a long, LONG while. You genuinely have me feeling conflicted about these characters. Excellent.
