...Karkat? Karkat! *There's no small measure of concern and urgency in her voice over the phone. Normally she'd believe him no matter what he said, but there clearly aren't any red lines around, which makes her wonder if this is another trick by the town.

And when there's no answer, she's packing up her chainsaw and booking it over to his place, carrying her shoes so she can actually move at a semblance of decent speed.*

[When she knocks on the door, he won't answer. But if she comes inside, she'll find him with Gamzee in the family room. They seem to be hugging, but Karkat looks completely limp and terrified at the same time.]

[Gamzee, on the other hand, looks rather bewildered but also pleased that Karkat's at least hugging him back. So...not that different from how he normally appears, except a little more confused.]

*There is a knock, a polite and dignified one as is her custom. And then when there is no answer, since Karkat's message has her rather concerned, Kanaya just bursts through anyway, chainsaw in hand if not running.

And... then she stops short at the two of them. Gamzee doesn't look murderous, but Karkat is radiating terror on such a level that she could swear she's suddenly developed Terezi's synaesthesia and smell it.*

Karkat? ...Gamzee? What's currently transpiring?

[She drops the phone and runs out of her house to Karkat's.

But there's nothing he's mentioned anywhere...

[He opens the door, brandishing his sickle and looking as though he doesn't recognize her at first.]

I know that Karkat. I remember the roleplay incident well.

Wait, are we even talking about that right now? What's wrong?

Mayfield is going to be destroyed, and everyone is going to die again.

When he arrives at Karkat's place, he raises an eyebrow. There didn't seem like there was anything going on. He walks over to Karkat and leans against a tree.]

[Karkat is crouched behind the tree staring at the ground, looking lost in his own world. He jumps when Sollux speaks.]

Sollux, where are you?
