Gun control? Why bother!

So there's going to be a push to ban assault weapons. I don't think it'll pass much less work. There's way too many of them in circulation. And of course it will end up in the courts, second amendment. And that's been reaffirmed by the Supreme Court a few times. Not going to end any different this time either

I've heard several people make the case that, sure, let people have assault weapons - if they join the National Guard (which does seem to be our current state militia version). Makes sense to me.

While NY is not representative of the rest of the country, I am proud of them for getting something through!
