[The street outside the corner of the village near house 26 is crowded. It's unusually crowded and incredibly noisy to boot. Harry is standing on the porch, scanning the wingless crowds rather skeptically. He has a bad feeling about this

[The Potions Master stares bewildered at the Boy Who Lived before coming to his senses.]

POTTER! WHY do I not find you in class right now? And might I ask, where you got those...

[He eyes the wings confusedly.]

... Those wings.

[A Potions Master appears! At first Harry is outraged, but then he's slightly confused.]

I haven't been in class for over a year. I got these wings the same way everyone else did!

[Snape cocks one eyebrow and stares at Harry suspiciously. Confusion increases in his mind as he remembers clearly Harry attending class just this past week with no distinct wings. Everyone else? What's that supposed to mean?]

I will take no lies from you, Potter. You are clearly up to something with this muddle of nonsense.

[Waves knowingly at the wings with his wand.]

[Harry's glare doesn't falter.]

[He just barely manages to dodge it, but he draws his wand and looks for his attacker.]

We're 'sppossed to bring you in alive! [He's not very good at hiding, so he doesn't bother trying to find any cover.] So stop moving around so much already!

You're going to bring me in to Voldemort? [Okay, he sounds pretty skeptically amused at that.] Looking for a career as a Snatcher, are you?

[Voldemort is not in any place he recognizes (perhaps there is a vague memory... no, no, there is not). He is certainly not happy to be taken from his business and landed here - wherever 'here' is - in a crowd full of Weasleys and children. Red eyes are searching the area, and it doesn't take long for the Dark Lord to spot a certain bespectacled boy with a lightning scar.]

Harry Potter. [It comes out as soon as the Dark Lord spots him, almost like an instinctual reaction at this point. Voldemort is certainly not happy to be in a place he has no recollection of, nor is he glad to see that Dumbledore's Golden Boy has sprouted wings srsly, wtf is with that?, but Harry being so close, so ready and waiting to be struck down by Voldemort, after months of searching for the wand to be able to do so... The situation is ideal. And yet, this wand is still out of Voldemort's grasp. He has yet to possess it, and thus the situation is not so ideal, no, not in the least.]

[Voldemort's nose just runs right through the thread, high-fiving Voldemort......somehow......on the way.

Yeah, man. Fuck yes. EVIL!]

[The pain in his scar is a familiar one, though he hasn't felt it in a while. He draws his wand with a sense of dread, seeing as he's right outside the home he shares with his friends (and the only other Death Eater in town is just a few doors away). There's no way to warn them without putting them in even more danger!

And then Harry's sense of dread and doom is derailed by a nose just skittering through and somehow managing to high-five its former owner.]

... Did you plan for that to happen?

[He's about to snap back a retort, but something seems off.]

Malfoy? Is that you?

[There's something..........following you, Harry....]

[There's a vague twitching feeling in his forehead, as if his scar can't decide whether it wants to hurt or not. He looks around for the source of the problem, and sees...]

Is that a nose?
