Well, when it comes to gifts, the problem here is that everything is already free. Getting a present from a store will only be saving them an easy trip.

You want to do something that shows you put some real effort into it. Something that will reach them on a personal level.

That's sort of the problem. He's used to having whatever expensive thing he wanted. There's not a whole lot of that here, so I'm trying to figure that last bit out.

I don't know. The last time I did anything for Valentine's Day was fifth year and that was a mess by any standard. It was some big deal to Cho so... maybe it's important somehow.
