Life Drawing Update
Keeping art posts separate from other things so they don't have to be private. : )
We didn't have a model this day, but that was okay because we were learning about folds, draping, and shadows. Five minute sketches of classmates. Graphite underdrawing, charcoal above.
The embarrassing part is that THIS WAS TEN MINUTES! Jesus, I'm slow at everything but people XD;
More of the same thing, different angle. I'm glad I made friends with charcoal, because it is so damn convenient. Except for my hands, of course. I always leave class rather dirty.
I do believe my teacher called this "beautiful" or something similar. I'm glad he missed the fact that I cannot draw skeletons for the life of me >8 And I wish I had had a couple more minutes.
Okay, I am seriously P.O.ed at Rumors. Rumors in general, yes. Don't start them and don't spread them! Despite this woman's irritating voice, her obsession with leopard print, her C-section scar, and the flap of chub she had from having babies in the past, this woman was BEAUTIFUL! I loved her fading tattoos, but didn't get the change to sketch them. >: I'm sorry, model, I drew you much fatter than you were! I'll learn how to draw eventually ;;; No, I can't draw butts, but that was the point of the day's lecture, so I had to try... 8| I kind of like the top one. It almost looks valid! X,D
