Well, for the first real day of vacation (AKA the first day my office was open but I wasn't there), I celebrated by going to the eye doctor. Since I mailed my glasses awhile back, I really needed some new ones but I'd been putting it off. I figured I should use this year's insurance though just in case something wacky happens in the coming year

I really want some new glasses. At the very least I need to take mine in and have them tighten up the sides so they don't slide off my face everytime I bend forward. I have partial coverage as a state employee and one of the optomitrist (sp???) office here on Daniel Island offers discounts to members of the Daniel Island Business Assoc (which Hank is). I wonder if it would be "double dipping" to go to the eye doctor, get the discount and then file a claim with my insurance. It's probably unethical...
