[Both the commotion and Litchi's concern over where Lao Jiu has gotten to eventually lead her to Tsubaki's room. After all, dinner can wait if Tsubaki is yelling like this-- obviously something has happened and the girl needs a hand.

When she opens the door and doesn't see any invader creeping in through a window, though, she looks confused. Totally didn't even think to look down.]

[Tsubaki breathes a sigh of relief as the doctor picks him up.]

[Goroh is traversing the hallway, heading to his room, having decided he's done his part fighting monsters today. Only there's an annoying panda in the way. Normally he'd consider kicking it out of the way, but this little bastard is vicious. And Tsubaki would rat him out.]

She remembered her friend's eyes, back at the Hanging Gardens; how there was no longer any light in them. Just... everything. None of it was Tsubaki's fault in Noel's mind.
