I know there are people looking for a cure for this... illness, but in the meantime, are there any treatments? I have friends that are ill and I hate seeing them suffer.

No, I'm still perfectly healthy, just worried about Ken.

Not unless you're a scientist who can figure out how to cure this. Mercy's give me time off to stay home, I think Derek's on-call to take Ken to the hospital if I need him to.

I haven't been able to make a remedy yet, but my observations aren't doing anything. This is beyond microscopic.

[ she sighs. ]

My healing technique remedies the illness for an hour, and there's medicines that exist that fight diseases with some levels of similarity that I was able to mix and combine into something that quells symptoms for at least two to four hours, but, I still need to make more in order to supply the town. With limited resources, I may never have enough at this rate.

I'm sorry. If you want, I can still come over and heal your friends briefly and come back every five hours when the medicine begins to ware off to give them some extra time?

I don't know that he'd be comfortable with that. He doesn't trust many people and having a stranger over so often....

I don't know hoe he'd react. I was hoping for something I could do...
