I love you, though we are drifting slowly apart. He is taking my place while filling in his own. I can't stand it, we were so close, but not anymore. so what am i to do? i have on one hand a best friend whom ive never been in a hard situation with, and on the other, a past (apparently) best friend who is constantly either pissed, happy, or otherwise with me. regretfully one is like a high maintenance girlfriend, but totally worth it when he is in a good mood (a real one, i find he fakes emotions alot). i suppose i choose one over the other because its so much easier to catch him in a good mood. ive always been here, but for some reason he lets himself fall away.

*band-aids are inexpensive, but hard to find.
