CFUW 119 - NIGHT ONE

Jun 12, 2010 19:00

Good evening, everyone~! I hope you've all had a productive day. ♥ This is your first 'night post,' which is when ousting happens.

Ousting usually runs for only one hour, in this game from 7 to 8 PM PST; if we shepherds run into trouble and put ousting up later than usual, we'll be sure to closer it later as well in order to keep things fair. Now then, I hope some of the mentors have explained what ousting is already, but just in case, here we go!

The two teams up for ousting are those you deemed most suspicious during the day, and now you're voting on who you think is most likely to be a wolf. At the end of the hour, the team with the most votes is removed from the game. During the night, the wolves will also choose one sheep to eat...but don't worry, this isn't a serious game so nothing too bad will happen to any of them. ♥ After ousting ends, this post will be frozen and a new day will go up, along with a new suspicion poll, minus the two teams whom the sheep and wolves have removed.

That takes care of the general run-down. As usual, if you have any further questions, that's what we and the mentors are for! But now, some special points of interest:

1. As a reminder, only beginners can vote in polls. However, unlike suspicion polls, the ousting results are visible to everyone. In other words, other people can see who you've voted on and ask you why.
2. Players who are up for ousting cannot vote. If you do it accidentally, we won't penalize you, but just know that your vote won't count.
3. Continuing from above, if you want to see the results before you vote, simply click the "submit poll" button without selecting any of the radio buttons. If you want to vote later, all you have to do is hit the "fill out poll" link.
4. Again, we will do coin tosses if a tie occurs, but it's not always a good idea to leave things up to chance. Also, some shepherds don't like ties. ♥ Of course, we're being nice in this game!
