A friend's post today reminded me I still have an account on livejournal!
I'm going to still keep my account because I really do miss typing longer entries than 140 characters.
I need to do some updating on things as well. So, more on that later.

It's a lot more quiet here these days. Heck, I have 230 people on my account and there are less than a dozen friend updates a week. Most have left but some are still around. Personally, I think it's nice to be able to write more than two sentences before running out of space. ;)

Once social media really took off (aka: facebook and then twitter), that's when the mass exodus happened. And then, it became so much easier to edit your words down to 140 characters, because everyone is now in the new age of "GO GO GO GO!" And then next thing you know, a new generation of furs now only know of twitter and facebook. Livejournal? What the hell is that? And then think once FA became really popular, then more and more people (including me) would just use that website for the multiple words.
