Califur 2010 full report and thoughts about furries vs. rest of society

All right you animals, tonight I've been inspired to write a full con report about the happenings in Irvine, CA. Some wonderfully good things came of it, and some oddly bad things came of it (but mostly good). Yeah , if I manage to get enough dough and time off, I don't see why not. I didn't get to visit one friend in particular that I kinda wished I saw more of, so it will be yet another excuse to the area to visit again. :)
I hope I can see you again soon as well. I hope you had a good time as well !

I *love* Scott Weiland. I met him backstage at a concert in 1999, and he is a totally awesome guy. I don't care what anyone says.

That's cool!! I've always enjoyed his music, so I'm glad you got to met him. I didn't get to meet any stars myself, but it didn't matter to me. I had a blast observing the madness.

They got more con books on Saturday morning. I wonder why they didn't just bring them all?

This new job thing I've got going for me is gonna make my schedule a little wacky at first but eventually I'm supposed to be able to create my own hours. So, we'll see how it goes.

And still are. They posted a bunch of photos on one of their websites and some of my friends posed for them with devo hats on. It was great! I'm very happy almost all my friends had a blast :)
