UGH

Played some Beatmania today (IIDX 10th style - IIDX GOLDDDDDDD)
I really noticed what I hate most is when I have a day where I'm just spot on...
and then the next time I play I'm filled with fail.

Yea... that's never fun.
I should take a good day or two off from it...
I'm sure that will halp.

UGHI have a bit of homework to do ( Read more... )

Heh. I had to take a random programming language course of my choice while I was still a CS major. I took Java and only came to class for tests. Seriously, there are some classes you just don't need a lecture for. And then there are classes where you can barely pass the tests if you never show up for lecture. It all depends on the teacher's style.

Have you thought about where you will apply after you graduate? It's a pity that you will likely need to start applying during an economic depression. I'll be happy to put you in touch with people if you decide that it might be nice to hang out in Gainesville for a while.

I really haven't given much thought about my post-graduation plans. I was considering doing an internship for next semester, but I honestly don't think that I can manage that, plus the 4 classes I need to get my BS in Computer Science and my Minor in Mathematics. I'm just going to start listing out my options and figuring out what all I'm going to do.

I'll definitely let you know if I decide on staying in Florida and perhaps move up to the Gainesville area. Thanks!

I would definitely do the internship even if it means postponing your graduation date for a while. Having an internship on your resume is huge -- it tells potential employers that you have already endured the awkward transition from academic to work environments and it gives them a solid reference that they can contact.

True true... I just need to think of whether or not I want to get my minor in Mathematics.

I guess I could finish up my BS this semester, and work on my minor next semester? I'm kind of in a bind there though, because I think this is the last year I'm covered by Bright Futures. *sigh*
