Summary: Margene faints while laying down grass, Nickie rushes to her side.

Margie wiped off her forehead and picked up another slab of grass, making sure it lined up before she started rolling it into the ground. The heat must have been getting to her because she was sweating heavily and just feeling sick. Inside Nickie was talking to Barb and both women kept glancing out the window to check up on Margie. Even through Margie was twenty three both women felt like they were a mother to her.
“Margie!” Barb shouted when she saw Margene fall onto the ground.
Both women went running out of the house. Nickie reached her sister wife first and propped Margie’s head into her lap, wiping off her forehead and smacking her cheek lightly to get her awake. Margene let out a soft groan and blinked her eyes open. Nickie’s concerned face came into a view.
“Are you alright Margene?” Nickie asked her.
“Yeah, I think I bumped my head a little though,” Margie answered softly.
Nickie gave her a little smile and bent down, kissing the top of Margene’s head.
“We’ll get you inside and fix you up,” Nickie smiled.
